Rachel Suen
From an early age Rachel aspired to a career in health and wellness. She studied biochemistry, psychology, and later massage therapy during her college and post-college years.
She received her A.S. in Natural Sciences, and her B.A. in Psychology from California State University, East Bay in Hayward. Rachel then went on to study at the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, where she received her CA State Certification in Massage Therapy, and has been practicing massage therapy since 2019. Rachel specializes in Integrated Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish, and Sports Massage to help her clients achieve their goals, whether it is to reduce pain, improve mobility, or to simply relax.
Rachel understand the importance of mind-body integration, and often thinks about the fast-paced society we currently live in where health and wellness is considered a luxury when it shouldn’t be. Rachel recognizes the importance of maintaining and strengthening the body, mind, and soul on a regular basis. She believes that through massage therapy, one is able to slow down and regain an internal connection and awareness within. Rachel believes massage therapy integrates Eastern and Western approaches to health and medicine offering a holistic, empathetic, and beneficial way to identify and meet one’s healthcare needs.
Rachel listens and communicates clearly when working with clients in order to understand and create a strategy for their treatment needs. Whether you are looking to relieve tension, reduce pain, improve mobility, or to simply have a relaxing, therapeutic massage, each session is catered to you. Every movement and pressure is delivered with intent and confidence. With Rachel, you can expect a massage therapist who is compassionate, intuitive and experienced

Rachel Reviews:
“Rachel is thorough, thoughtful, and very warm. She takes time to listen to you, and to your body to best assist with releasing tension, and bringing about a sense of relaxation and restoration! Each session with her is customized to your bodies specific need (at that time). She adjusts her pressure according to what your preference is. And even gives recommendations on stretches that can help/support you on your own time. I’d highly recommend her to be your Massage Therapist.”

“I highly recommend Rachel. I’ve seen a lot of massage therapists over the years and she’s one of the best! She’s very attuned and listens well - to you and your body. She’s clearly driven to do excellent work and it shows.””
““Rachel is a master of her craft! I saw her for deep tissue & myofascial release to aid in the recovery of old injuries and to relieve stiffness in my neck, shoulders, and legs from strength training and scar tissue build up.
I like my massages with firm pressure, and Rachel does a great job communicating pressure preferences with me & meeting those preferences.
She does a lot of intervention work for me around my scar tissues to effectively break up adhesions and stored tension. I always leave her sessions feeling deeply relaxed in my body, mind, and nervous system.
She has a very welcoming & comfortable energy to be around, and it’s clear that she is very experienced in her craft and knows her way around the body’s systems from the muscle & soft tissues, to the skeletal system, and even the subtle body (mental/emotional/spiritual).”
